Frost Beat @ Amberlodge

During easter break, we went to this club called Amberlodge where they had a special themed night "Frost Beat". Due to the theme, they were giving out ice cream to us as we entered when it's already like so cold and windy outside ?!? hahaz. tink this was more of an Asian night where almost the people I saw inside were asians. The music was definitely more R&B and pop - not so much of techno! arghz find it so weird to dance to techno music or rather I don't even how to??? hahaz robot style? there wasn't much people on the dance floor until only after midnight. We simply waited & waited till the dance floor's crowded; if not feel kinda self-conscious =P & the drinks were so expensive! We only had a shot of tequila each. In the midst of dancing, decided that we were not high enough and wanted to get more high with cheaper drinks so went out to find 7-eleven stores thinking that we can get spirits like what we have in Spore.

BUT ~ We went combing around to several convenience stores nearby or even 1 street down but couldn't find anything alcoholic at all. Only then did we found out that they were only sold in bottle shops & the convenience stores simply don't sell them. oh manz moreover, we were in our sleeveless or single layer tops (without our coats at all) out on the streets. It was freezingggg outside - drizzling and windy. Think we looked really bizarre as compared to other people who are dressed so covered. A guy even asked us and wondered if we're feeling cold? =P Ultimately, we ended eating cup noodles & chatting in 7 eleven. The heater inside was really good. Heez yup so we stayed in the store & ate for quite a long time. Suddenly realised that cup noodles can be so comforting & tasty. We ran back to the club, blazing through the cold and continued dancing for some time. But the music style seemed to be heading off in a different direction. Stayed on till around 4am & then went to stay over at shumei's apartment. haha this is indeed a not-so-typical clubbing night (",)

in LuV with chocolate

ice cream, hot chocolate, ice-blended cold choc drink, 3 small pieces of choc (but expensive!) & best of all - The Belgium Spoil!

My 1st time to Koko Black at Lygon. ahhhh can say that their chocolate's much richer & thicker than max brenner's. guess for max they are better for their desserts with their huge variety while koko is definitely more famous for their quality of chocolate. It was so crowded that we had to wait for around half an hour to be seated. Chocolate can definitely make you high. By the time we set off, it was 1plus - no tram! We walked home either yelling, singing or cheering all the way - it's crazy hahaz but luckily there's almost no one on the streets if not it's gonna be kind of embarrassing =P

I'm eating chocolate so much more frequently here ~ think it's almost like everyday or every other day or so! there's Tim Tam also (all the arnotts brand biscuits etc that r coated with chocolate and/or nuts)! but it's ok as chocolate's simply too irresistible!!!

Surprise drinking party!

we planned a surprise drinking party for julianna on Anzac day (public hol)!
PLaN: shuk & shumei planned to watch movie with her. In the end, only shuk turned up saying shumei had a plumber who's fixing her toilet in her hse. So they went to her apartment where we were all in her house. (but the drinks came much later though - they're so heavy! was carryin them w barbara all the way along with our quilts - hahaz brought them along to sleep over if not will freeze at night)
Shuk ended up being tipsy after a bottle of cruiser black which is of ~7% alcohol. All along she claimed that she's somber & ok & that she in fact had high alcohol tolerance. Guess it's because she drank without having eaten anything b4 that. It's so funny~ Her balance was so bad that she can't sit up straight & everytime she tries to get up, she simpy rolled onto the floor. Sometimes, we didn't even realise and she almost hit her head. We didn't manage to finish everything (haha of coz! esp the vodka citron - it's 40%!). forgot to buy chips & some snacks to go along with also. If not we wouldn't end up starving & cooking instant noodles =P
had 8am lecture on the following day. Only me & steph ended up going =P But it's of not much use though coz I was sleepin thru the whole lec ~.~

Ruv's belated bdae!

really like their carbonara pasta! but somehow feel that their pizza's rather dry - it's the kind with thin crust & not that much cheese - prefer domino's or intersection cafe's pizza still though (much cheaper too!)

To go or not to go

didn't update for quite some time. somehow juz dunno where to start from already. wanted to put down everything that's happened & times when i'm happy down stressed frustrated lost confused ... ...

hmm now wondering if I should go for Physio ball ^o^ [dilemma] coz the irritating part is that it is held on a thursday nite, the night b4 my mid-sem exam!!! arghz the student club obviously didn't check yr 1s' timetable. the same thing happended last year too! but they managed to convince the subject coordinator to change the date of the exam even when it's taken by the med and dental pple also. Since it's a repeat scenario the coordinator defintely wouldn't want to change it again just for us just like last year ?!?
seems like response from yr 1 int'l students are not tt great either. but we r even strongly encouraged by the lecturers to go! =P hahaz. niwae can just start studying earlier sometime b4 the ball rite??? =S

p.s: a pity that I didn't took the photos of the yummy food that I ate during easter break along chapel st. an entire wk of non-IH food haha. hee so that I can drool at them still ;)
