Paintball!
Went for paintball at the start of my hols. It's a 1-2 hr drive away from the city where we car-pooled to get there and was kinda high up in the mountains. turned really foggy on our way home. Got shot badly on my arm and thigh, esp the thigh! The bruise was so big & ugly & it only disappear ~4 wks later when I've started school already arghz. hahaz
The last game which was the live firing was simply nerve wrecking but really exciting! There were only wooden stands and metal barrels around in the open space, unlike the green surroundings that we had for the previous games - full of trees and grasses for us to hide in. Paintballs flying everywhere, continous shooting, barriers and barrels vibrating from the shots & etc. definitely add to the adrenaline rush :)
hmm but got into a car accident on the way back. At a roundabout, think the car was going rather fast, somehow it lost control and crashed into the slope in front. Luckily it's sloping upwards instead of downwards phew! The 3 of us gals sitting at the back seat went swinging around in the car, forwards then sideways on my side & my head hit the window screen. Gosh it was a hard & resounding one manz. Didn't remember being hit so hard on my head before. My fren suffered an abrasion on the leg & luckily, there was no fracture after the check-up at the hospital. Hmm but come to think of it, we didn't have our seat belts on -- eh we juz left the place only & think coz were kind of chatting, cleaning and changing our shoes that it slipped our mind [oops]. The car was sent for repair but it turned out that it was in fact not worth repairing as it's value was merely $800! Come to think of it, it did seem like a pretty old car. Our driver actually had some nightvision problem too. But guess it's not all his faul..he's a really nice guy & probably the car's engine was rather old so it went out of control. We should have fastened our seat belts too.
At that instance, after realising that the car was not turning round the bend but going fast straight ahead instead, I remembered that my mind was a total blank and had the feeling that we're indeed going to crash anytime soon. It happened juz sooo fast that at the end of it, I felt momentarily stunned. Being in a car accident definitely doesn't feel good but made me realise that life is indeed precious & short. Anything can happen; literally everything. Didn't expect myself to get into an accident. Anyway no one else would also right? Whenever I'm in a car now, the seat belt will not be forgotten too.
Nonetheless, I really enjoyed myself and had FUN. It's a must go + will want to go for it again still! :D
