Somehow ever since the last day of my exams last last wk, it felt like my hols is so going to end sooooon!! In fact, my last day of exam wasn't a very pleasant experience, with the picky examiner who's so not agreeable with my way of handling & there shld be 2 examiners instead of 1. All of them have diff preferances of doing things & i guess esp him who's seemed pretty stern & particular abt the minute details.. He wasn't even our level prac tutor & simply just popped out to be the examiner for that room on that particular day!?! Plus the fact that i'm running out of time having to rush thru my electro which might have been better if i'd it done in the beginning. Seriously didn't realise that my sound head wasn't moving at all when i was adjusting the intensity -.- That's such a major mistake which is gonna cost me a safety fail already. Can't believe that i've actually no mood at all to shop when I was in essendon's DFO. Think i was just stepping in & out of the shops & ended up sitting down & eating sushi/lunch for ~1hr while cs & steph joined later on. It's basically an hr wasted which could have been used to discover sales & worthy buys in the meantime hmm but seriously just doesn't feel like browsing through all the stuff. Usually i'll be like lamenting of having not enough time to shop finish instead though. Oops enough of my ranting. Hmm at least the korean dinner at night is comforting. A spicy hotpot on that particular misty & cold night. The place seemed really popular. Our dinner actually became supper with the food served at ~9am and our rice came only after 25min after the hotpot is served. It's so agonising to be looking at the hotpot & not able to feast on it :p It's amazing that that night is sooo misty & fogy - view of just ~100m.
We ended up waking up early the next day to head down to Ballarat Wildlife park. I've not caught up on my sleep & so wanted to sleep in late after the whole exam period! yup haha but again it turned out that we couldn't all turn up in time to catch the 1.5 hr train ride there. Still went on with the plan to catch a later train although we were afraid that we wouldn't have enough time to finish the zoo. It's in fact smaller than the melb zoo but definitely much much better! I've finally got to see the koalas!! which i rem that the koalas in melb zoo were all sleeping & curled up high up in the trees. Basically all the animals were sleeping on that particular hot summer day when I visited it last yr. There were so many kangaroos around in this zoo also that they just sleep anywhere & pop out from nowhere! At times it gave me a scare when i felt something brushing agst me which is actually a kangaroo kissing ur butt or hand! It made me knocked my knee agst the glass when I was watching the alligator show :S The bruise is still there. haha but have to say that the kangaroos were cute. Oh but they can be vigorous too! 1 of them actually snatched our map of the zoo & ate it! The rest of the kangaroos rushed to it & they were all snatching & fighting for the paper! That was our only map! So after that we were actually walking around the zoo based on our instincts.
Soon after that is clinics for the entire wk. This time round is attending clinics like working hrs unlike in the past which is 2 hrs each time in yr 1. It's so much better than the yr 1 experience i think. haha seen much more & allowed to do more hands-on stuff and I actually get to take BP for 3 pts at 1 shot which is my 1st time taking! Hmm guess too bad there wasn't too many resp pts for me to try ascultation on. With the bbq, dinners, shopping & games, it's already tue hmm or shld i say wed & that I'm actually supposed to be on my way to Central aus in less than 4 hrs! Waking up at 5.30am which is 2.5 hrs away only. But it seems like it's not the time to sleep yet with the rest still playing cards in the living room! It's amazing how our apartment can squeeze 7 pple to sleep over at a time. Hope i'll survive thru the trip with my 0 degress (recommended minus 5 degrees) sleeping bag in a tent for 9 nights in the winter desert & conquer the Ayers rock! haha hmm enough ramblings for now & hopefully I can put up some photos after sorting out all the photos from my camera. Central aus here I come! As I say bye temporarily to my laptop, my bed, my room, my kitchen, my toilet...basically an endless list..!
