It was still pouring and pouring heavily. What's gonna happen to the o week campfire in hc?Heard that it ended up being held in the hall. My deepest sympathy with the j1s but i believe the hc spirit was nevertheless still high and united. So we'd had a change of plans: decided to head to dinner at Botak Jones in clementi. 1st time there and didn’t know that it was in fact so popular, having a queue that practically covers the entire length of the coffee shop. Waited 1 hr and our big plates of western set meals came. Cheap & yummy! Proves that good food is definitely worth the long wait :)
Sat* It's wanling's bdae! While mine’s juz 2 days later than hers :P A special year this yr as we'll all be turning 21!

Hanging ard in suntec..seems like we always have our circle formation everywhere and anywhere we go..hahaz esp while waiting outside shops or even in the mrt station & the guys were sharing with us their amusing adventures and interesting facts from their china trip. It sounds so tempting; made me feel like going china to shop also! Btw thx a lot for e puma bag! Shall use it as my sch bag soon when i've more stuff to carry and it’s gonna make me think of u all everyday :P

When we asked for the bill, realized that the carrot cake that's worth 11 plus bucks was actually complimentary! The waiter said coz hh told them the cake’s for my bdae though it’s not the actual day. Even offered to help take photo and said will sent it to us. Hahaz saw a few other tables celebrating bdaes too and looks like their cakes are on the house too!
When carrot cake is mentioned, I would think of the hawker/ food court kind of carrot cake. But in western areas, their carrot cake is really in the form of a cake. Didn't really like it at all as I've only tried those served as desserts back in IH but this is so diff yummy and BIG!

Mon * Lunch at Surf & Turf with my fellow physios! Des’s in spore! catching up with Julianna also after not seeing her for such a long time :P Btw really sorry for spoiling the movie plan by leaving halfway..need to help my mum get the no. for the fridge >.<
Was looking forward to a dim sum buffet for dinner at Dragon Gate. Arghz but we found out that their buffet was not dim sum after making a trip there! Haha so ended up eating at Sushi Tei in Vivocity. Outside, it resembles a bamboo forest and gave me the feeling that it was rather deserted inside the restaurant. What a misleading deco. It was unexpectedly different and comforting inside, overlooking sentosa through the glass windows, with almost every table filled with people :) 
After which, we went to watch Pan’s labyrinth. “Beautiful and exhilarating, a fairy tale for grown-ups.” Haha totally agreed with the review. Dark and gory at times, keeps you in suspense, reminds you of the fairy tales you’ve heard since young. Not the same kind of innocent tales but at least something is similar – it’s the happy ever after ending. An adult fairy tale, dark and gory at times, yet exhilarating! Chewy drove us home in her orangy car! The most femine car I've ever seen, of soft toys and cute stuff :PTue* Met up with weiling in nus and ate at Geko. I actually ate pasta. Mushroom pasta. Thought that I would not be touching pasta ever when back in spore :P heez it’s ok I actually did eat it afterall. It’s edible. Nice catching up with her and shopping at the bazaar :)
Wed* Went to recee for the desaru cycling trip. It was the best weather ever for those few days. How rare when it had been raining for the past few days. Pretty high chance that it’s gonna be good weather in that wkend :) heez but the trip still didn’t go as planned so postponed to the coming wkend..pls weather be good k?
Thx guys for all the prezzies, smses, wishes, cards & everything!!! :D Feel rather disheartened that I won’t be able to be here to celebrate the many 21st bdaes. It’s gonna be such a happening year, going for all e 21st celebrations & parties but looks like I’ll have to miss them all..except at least for the dec babies!
